The Ilkley Conservation Area covers about 133 hectares and was designated by City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council in 1971. Inside the boundary are 42 listed buildings (3 Grade I, 2 Grade II*, 37 Grade II). The most significant is 3 Stone Crosses South of the Church of All Saints, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
