The Up Nately Conservation Area covers about 15 hectares and was designated by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council in 1981. Inside the boundary are 12 listed buildings (1 Grade II*, 11 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St. Stephen, Grade II*.
